Rental Technician
<h3>Rental Technician — Mountain Air Resort, Verbier</h3><p>As a Rental Technician at Mountain Air, you'll be at the core of our guests' mountain experience — fitting skis and snowboards, adjusting bindings, and ensuring every guest leaves with the right equipment for their ability and the day's conditions.</p><h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Fit and adjust ski and snowboard equipment for guests of all ages and abilities</li><li>Set binding release values to manufacturer specifications and guest ability level</li><li>Perform daily equipment checks, maintenance, and waxing</li><li>Manage rental inventory using our management system</li><li>Handle high volumes efficiently during peak check-in periods (07:30–10:00)</li><li>Advise guests on equipment selection based on ability, terrain, and conditions</li></ul><h4>Requirements</h4><ul><li>Previous ski/snowboard rental or shop experience strongly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of binding adjustment and safety standards</li><li>Physical fitness — this role involves heavy lifting and standing for long periods</li><li>Calm and efficient under pressure during peak periods</li><li>Good English; French or German a significant advantage</li><li>Right to work in Switzerland</li></ul><h4>Package</h4><p>CHF 2,600–2,900/month + accommodation assistance + ski pass + staff discount</p>
