**Ski Rental Technician (Skifitter) – Winter 25/26, Chamonix**

As a Ski Rental Technician, you'll be at the heart of our guests' mountain experience, ensuring they are perfectly equipped to hit the slopes. **Key Responsibilities:**

• Welcome and advise guests on the optimal ski and snowboard equipment choices.
• Adjust and maintain ski bindings according to current safety standards (ISO 11088).
• Perform basic maintenance on rental equipment, including waxing and edge tuning.
• Manage equipment inventory and contribute to the organization of the rental area.
• Foster a positive and professional working environment for both guests and colleagues.

**What We're Looking For:**

• **French:** At least conversational proficiency.
• **English:** Professional working proficiency.
• **German:** At least conversational proficiency.
• **Boot Fitting:** Proven expertise in ski boot fitting and adjustments.
• **ISO 11088 Certification:** Essential for safety and compliance.
• **Local Presence:** Must already be residing in the country.
• **Snowboard Bindings (Preferred):** Knowledge of adjustments.
• **Alpine Driving (Preferred):** Experience driving in mountain conditions.
• **Minibus License (Preferred):** An asset for potential transfers.
• **Rental Software (Preferred):** Familiarity with rental management systems.
• **Avalanche Training (Preferred):** Knowledge of avalanche safety.
• **Experience (Advantageous):** Previous experience in a similar role.
• **Personal Ski Level (Advantageous):** For a deeper understanding of equipment.
• **Italian (Advantageous):** Additional language skills are always valued.
• **First Aid (Advantageous):** First aid certification.
• **Other Languages (Advantageous):** Any other language proficiency.
• **Availability (Advantageous):** Flexibility with working hours.
• **Seasonal Experience (Advantageous):** Previous seasonal work experience.
